44th Annual Fiesta Bowl

December 31, 2014

The 44th Annual Fiesta Bowl will be played at University of Phoenix Stadium Dec. 31, 2014. New this year is the College Football Playoff system, which will determine a national champion for the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision.  Under this playoff system, four teams play in two semifinal games, with winners advancing to the new College Football Championship Game.  This new format does not use computer rankings or polls to select the participants.  Instead, a committee of 13 experts will select and seed the teams.  Come check out this brand-new match up in the Valley of the Sun this winter.  Teams will be announced Dec. 7, 2014.

To get in the football spirit, check out the Fiesta Bowl Parade and the Fiesta Bowl ArtWalk, both held Dec. 27, 2014.

During your visit to Scottsdale, experience all the city has to offer from desert exploration and outdoor thrills to fabulous dining and shopping. Scottsdale is home to over 200 of the finest golf courses in the world and offers endless outdoor activities.
