There are plenty of food fests around the Valley throughout the year. We’re surprised we’ve never seen an Italian-specific one. Well, that’s all about to change in the beginning of April. Kelly’s at SouthBridge will be turning into the Italian countryside from April 4 to April 5. On that Friday, the night will be filled with Italian bites from over 10 local Italian bistros, wine, and music. You can stroll around the area and browse authentic hand-crafted items and products. The two-day event is about to us by the Italian Association. The cost is $10 for entrance which includes a souvenir of the first Italian festival of Arizona. Children under 10 have free entry.
Participating vendors include:
Cactus Candy Company
CuttleFish Ocean Kitchen
Old World Brewery
The Phoenix Opera will also have signers on Friday & Saturday. Additional musical performances will include Monte Procopio, vocalist starting at 6 p.m. on Friday and Jerry Donato, saxophone player starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
