Holiday Festivities Scheduled for Scottsdale Quarter
Scottsdale Quarter is celebrating the holiday season with a series of high school choir performances in The Quad on the first three Fridays in December. Chaparral, Paradise Valley and Shadow Mountain high schools each highlight an evening that includes falling snow, free hot chocolate with Mrs. Claus, plus an Enter-to-Win promotion for a $5,000 shopping spree at the 28-acre retail, dining and entertainment district.
“We wanted to create an event that would highlight our new public space, The Quad, and celebrate the holiday season with a great line-up of new retailers,” said Richard Hunt, Scottsdale Quarter general manager. “Scottsdale Quarter is also committed to being a valuable community partner and we are very excited to work with these very talented high school choir programs.”
Chaparral High School kicks off the celebration on Dec. 3 with performances at 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. Shadow Mountain High School performs at the same times on Dec. 10 and Paradise Valley High School on Dec. 17. Additionally, top radio stations KESZ and KMXP will broadcast live from the event each week and fresh snowfall will turn The Quad into a winter wonderland every half hour between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
