Scottsdale’s Calendar is Chock Full of Events

Scottsdale will rock once again this weekend, with the calendar chock full of events for the next two days.  I know we say this often but with everything form the first annual Arizona Barbecue Festival to the last performance of Native Trails, you’re sure to find something that suits your likes.  A high of 87 and sunny weather is predicated all weekend (I really do love this time of year) so you should be good to grab your flip-flops and sunscreen and head out the door.

You’ll find a list of the events, as well as the pertinent information for each, listed below.  All that’s left to do is decide which event (or two or three) you want to attend and enjoy the weekend!

Native Trails
The last performance of the eighth season of Native Trails will take place this Saturday afternoon.  Native Trails is an annual series of performances that celebrate Native American song, dance, art and food.  These weekly noon time performances give us a glimpse into our historic Native Culture with flutes, the big drum, championship hoop dancing, traditional costumes and more.  A must-see experience, don’t miss the last one of the season!
