At last count, more than three dozen current and former PGA and LPGA TOUR pros call Scottsdale home. Pretty impressive, considering these folks have traveled the globe and played many of the sport’s most renowned courses. So, why choose Scottsdale as their home base? We asked a handful of golf’s notable Scottsdale residents and here’s what they said.

Tom Lehman

“There’s a wide variety of things to do, like sporting events with profession and college teams, great restaurants, and, for the ladies, great shopping. From places like Kierland Commons and Old Town to Old Town Scottsdale, there’s something here for everybody.”

Gary McCord

“The great thing about Scottsdale is, of course, the weather, but it’s also the lifestyle and the camaraderie of the community.”

Stan Utley

“My favorite thing about Scottsdale is hanging out at Grayhawk Golf Club and eating Mexican food three or four times a week!”

Brandel Chamblee

“I love that I can play a different golf course every day and go to a different restaurant every night. And everywhere you look it’s just beautiful. There are mountains, golf courses, swimming pools, people, shopping, art. It’s paradise! Why wouldn’t you want to live here?”
