Me the Artist

You don’t have to be a wiz with the paintbrush to enjoy Me the Artist. Even if you’ve never so much as dipped into a Crayola watercolor set, you’ll be amazed with what you can create during your two- or three-hour session. Every participant paints the same acrylic-on-canvas masterpiece with certified instructors on-hand to provide simple instruction. details

 

Art of Merlot

Explore your creative side at Art of Merlot, an art studio that hosts expert-led paining classes. The studio provides the canvases, paints, brushes, aprons and easels – everything you need to create your own masterpiece. And the best part? You’re welcome to bring your own food or beverages into the class, including wine! details

 

Scottsdale Artists’ School

Weekly classes and workshops at Scottsdale Artists’ School are led by working, professional artists experienced in mediums like charcoal, drawing, sculpture and more. The Youth Academy’s week-long summer fine arts program and Saturday morning classes inspire blooming artists age six and up. details

 

Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art

On June 27, bring the whole gang to SMoCA for In the Mood for Food, a family-friendly event that includes a tour of the exhibit, “Stocked: Contemporary Art from the Grocery Aisles,” live music from the band Jeff Jones and the Earthtones, and healthy snacks.
