Pueblo Grande Museum Auxiliary is hosting its 12th Annual Navajo Rug and Indian Art Auction on November 4. The auction, conducted by Bruce Burnham, of Burnham Trading Company in Sanders, Arizona, is a one day fundraising event begins with a preview at 9 a.m., followed by the auction from noon to 5 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Pueblo Grande Museum Auxiliary, a support group for the Pueblo Grande Museum which supplements the museums’ preservation efforts, educational programs and special events, exhibits and artifact collections care.
Enjoy fry bread and other native foods will be available for sale during the day along with coffee and breakfast treats in the morning. The preview and auction are free and open to the public. The Museum will be open 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. with standard museum admission rates for visitors, and free for current Museum Auxiliary Members.
