70th Anniversary Celebration

The Stadium is hosting a free community event on Saturday, April 18th to celebrate 70 Years of Baseball. Family-friendly activities will include facility tours, a vendor fair, a Scottsdale Police vs. Fire softball game, and a special showing of The Sandlot on the jumbotron. Nestled in the heart of Old Town, Scottsdale Stadium has been a beloved baseball landmark since 1956. With a rich legacy in the Cactus League, the stadium has welcomed some of the most iconic teams in Major League Baseball. Over the decades, thoughtful renovations have preserved its historic charm while introducing modern enhancements, ensuring it remains a premier destination for both fans and players alike. Vendors interested in hosting a free table during the event should contact the Stadium Events Coordinator, Victoria Teague, vteague@scottsdaleaz.gov
