Air Supply at Talking Stick Resort
50th ANNIVERSARY
ABOUT THE SHOW
Graham Russell and Russell Hitchcock, known worldwide as Air Supply, have spent nearly 50 years perfecting their craft since meeting on May 12, 1975, during the Australian tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. Known for their romantic 80s hits, they remain a global touring force, performing 130 shows annually and approaching their 5,500th concert in fall 2024. Air Supply was the first Western group to tour China and other previously closed countries, and set a record performing for 175,000 people in Cuba in 2005.
Their achievements rival music legends, with five consecutive Top 5 singles (“Lost in Love,” “All Out of Love,” “Every Woman in the World,” “The One That You Love,” “Here I Am”), 20 million albums sold from their early catalog, and five songs reaching multi-million radio plays—including “Sweet Dreams” and “Making Love Out of Nothing At All.” Graham received a BMI Million-Air Award for three million performances of “All Out of Love.”
In 2025, they’ll continue touring with their powerhouse band—led by guitarist Aaron McLain and joined by Mirko Tessandori (keys/vocals), Pavel Valdman (drums), and Doug Gild (bass). To mark the anniversary, the duo will release a biopic (All Out of Love: The Air Supply Story), a Broadway musical (Lost in Love), their autobiography, their 18th studio album (A Matter of Time, produced by Brian Howes), and a special vinyl compilation.
