They’re back! And this time… they’ve brought friends… Journey back in time at the Phoenix Zoo! Immerse yourself in a world where colossal dinosaurs and other ancient beasts dominate the landscape in this not-to-be-missed prehistoric experience. All new creatures include Giganotosaurus, saber-toothed cat, sea scorpion, terror bird, and more.

On the 9th of each month, November through April, the Zoo will host sensory-friendly hours at Dinosaurs in the Desert.  

  • November 9, December 9, January 9, February 9, March 9, and April 9 from 8 – 11 a.m.
  • All dinosaur movement will be turned off.
  • All dinosaur sounds will be turned off.
  • All music at the entry of Dinosaurs in the Desert will be turned off.
