Embroidered with Pain Opening Reception

Join us at an opening reception for the exhibition Embroidered with Pain at the ArtReach Space inside Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.  

To say the unspeakable, Embroidered with Pain uses the language of traditional Ukrainian hand embroidery to encode stories of sexual violence survivors during the Russian war against Ukraine. To this day, those who suffered violence find it difficult to share what they have endured. It is through this exhibition their stories can be seen and felt.
