Founders Day Celebration

This free event recognizes Scottsdale’s founder, Chaplain Winfield Scott, and his wife, Helen, with a focus on them as Scottsdale's first equestrians. This is the 116th anniversary of the opening of the Little Red Schoolhouse. 

This event is presented by the city of Scottsdale, in partnership with the Scottsdale Historical Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution, Winfield Scott Chapter.
