Experience the tranquility of mindfulness amidst the breathtaking landscape of Taliesin West, accompanied by the knowledgeable Stewards of the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy. Join us for rejuvenating mindfulness walks that guide you toward inner peace through a profound connection with nature.
Our journey begins at the ticketing kiosk, from where we embark on a brief stroll through the Historic Core. As we venture further, we'll find ourselves immersed in the vast desert expanse, walking along a path that winds against the majestic McDowell mountains. Along this path, you will witness how the desert's essence left an indelible mark on the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and his apprentices, and observe the evolving interplay between nature and human design.
While this enriching program offers an incredible opportunity to delve into the landscape's history and significance, please be aware that the walk spans approximately 1.5 miles across uneven terrain with minimal shading. The duration of the walk can extend up to 90 minutes, punctuated by informative stopping points along the way. To ensure your comfort and well-being, we recommend bringing sunglasses, a hat, water, and sunscreen. Additionally, kindly wear closed-toed shoes and attire suitable for traversing desert trails.
Come, join us on this mindful sojourn, where nature's serenity harmonizes with the spirit of Taliesin West to create a truly transformative experience.
