Great Event for Nature Lovers of All Ages
Get a close-up glimpse of raptors and other native Arizona wildlife at the depot 11:00 am-12:45 pm, prior to the 1:00 p.m. train rides. By partnering with Arizona’s Liberty Wildlife, Verde Canyon Railroad provides visitors the opportunity to see majestic owls and wild raptors. Summer months feature cold-blooded creatures: snakes, tortoises and lizards.
A portion of all train ticket revenue is donated to the Liberty Wildlife Raptor Rescue program.
