To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Alamos-Scottsdale Sister Cities connection, The Sonoran Institute of Culture has selected one of the best from Sonora to perform at the ASU Kerr Cultural Center in Scottsdale. Luis Castillo, a young, exciting baritone, is coming to Scottsdale directly from one of the largest music festivals in México, FAOT, which last year attracted 130,000 in Alamos. He will be accompanied by pianist, Hector Acosta. This year is the 36th edition of the Festival International Dr. Alfonso Ortiz Tirado (FAOT) in Alamos, Sonora, Mexico, the second-largest music festival in the world by number of artists performing.

Experience the music of a Mexican rising star and honor the Alamos-Scottsdale friendship and Sonoran culture with an intimate musical session. This unique musical evening is being organized by Scottsdale Sister Cities, the Governor of Sonora, the Sonoran Institute of Culture, and the ASU Kerr Cultural Center.
