Steve Miller Band at Talking Stick Resort

Steve Miller has been a defining figure in American music for over 50 years, selling tens of millions of records and amassing billions of streams. His *Greatest Hits 1974-78* earned a Diamond Award and ranks among the top 25 best-selling albums of all time. Emerging from San Francisco's psychedelic blues scene in the late '60s, Miller later dominated '70s radio with timeless hits like "The Joker," "Fly Like an Eagle," and "Abracadabra."

Rooted in jazz and blues—thanks to his parents' influence and collaborations with legends like Muddy Waters—Miller's music blends virtuosity and songcraft. Recently, he has focused on blues education, curating series for Jazz at Lincoln Center and serving on the Metropolitan Museum of Art's musical instruments committee. Five of his guitars were featured in the Met's 2019 "Play It Loud" exhibit.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (2016) and Songwriters Hall of Fame (2022), Miller continues to tour and release archival projects, including the J50: The Evolution of The Joker box set. In 2024, his song "Abracadabra" resurged in popularity after featuring in Eminem's hit "Houdini." Miller's work remains a vibrant bridge between past and present, celebrated for its creativity and enduring appeal.
