Local Health & Safety Measures

Experience Scottsdale is committed to providing visitors with accurate information about the health and safety measures in place within our community.

Though no longer required, the city of Scottsdale encourages the use of face coverings in all public spaces. Masks are required in all city buildings and facilities as well. Learn more about the city’s A Healthy Scottsdale Starts With You campaign that promotes these and other healthy practices.

Many Scottsdale businesses continue to follow recommendations from the Arizona Department of Health Services to minimize the spread of COVID-19. These steps include requiring or encouraging masks and social distancing, as well as implementing enhanced cleaning and sanitation measures. Some businesses may continue to limit capacity as well.

Because Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey allowed all businesses to resume normal operations as of March 25, 2021, COVID-19 measures vary by business. Please contact individual businesses directly if you would like detailed information on their efforts to protect you and other guests.

The Arizona Department of Health Services, Maricopa County Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have additional information on the coronavirus.

Please do your part to ensure the health and safety of all in our community. Take the Safe Traveler Pledge and enjoy your visit in Scottsdale!
