Waymo launched the world's first fully autonomous ride-hailing service, called Waymo One in Metro Phoenix in 2020. Using the Waymo One app, our riders can hail a car without a human operator and get where they need to go. We're building the World's Most Experienced Driver(TM) and believe this technology has the potential to save lives, increase independence and improve mobility access. As of August 2023, the 24/7 Waymo One service area covers 225 square miles of Phoenix.
