Dreamy Draw Festival Announces Debut Line-Up in Historic Old Town Scottsdale

Midland, Margo Price, Trampled By Turtles, Lord Huron, Watchouse, Stephen Wilson Jr., Breland, Hailey Whitters, and Many More

November 3- 4, Scottsdale Civic Center

This November, the streets of Old Town Scottsdale will be singing to the sounds of the American West, as Dreamy Draw Festival makes its proud debut in partnership with Scottsdale Arts. The two day festival co-presented by Oh Wow and Spoonful, will deliver some of the very best country, folk, Americana, roots and rock music spread across the beautiful grassy grounds of the Scottsdale Civic Center.

Dreamy Draw’s inaugural edition is headlined by the Arizonian trio and hometown heroes Midland, who have become one of country music’s biggest breakout stars. They’ll be joined by the psychedelic Margo Price, who has effortlessly bridged a generational and genre gap by pushing country’s boundaries while honoring its past. Bluegrass folk stars Trampled By Turtles, along with Watchouse, nod to America’s folk history while Breland points to a genre inclusive celebration of Black music’s future while Hailey Whitters represent the next gen of emergent country starlets.

In addition to nationally known stars, Dreamy Draw is committed to highlighting the emerging regional bands, shaping the sound of the new West. Local acts curated in partnership with Scottsdale Arts include Evan Honer, Taylor Glasheen and The Senators.

The three stage outdoor festival is housed in the 40 acre Scottsdale Civic Center, which opened in January following a $35 million construction process. Each of Dreamy Draw’s stages offer intimate spaces to watch world class performers, while enjoying the comfort of shaded grassy lawns, tree lined areas and some of the West’s most amazing sunsets. The festival site is located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, providing easy walking access to the city's world class bars, restaurants and hotels.

“We’re excited to bring a brand-new festival with a stellar lineup to the Valley, and we’re especially looking forward to hosting it in the beautiful amphitheaters of the newly renovated Scottsdale Civic Center,”  said Dr. Gerd Wuestemann, President & CEO of Scottsdale Arts. “Scottsdale is intimately tied to the histories and mythologies of the American West. Our lovely new outdoor venues, right here in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, create a perfect location for a new festival of American roots music.

Dreamy Draw will honor the frontier sound and history of Scottsdale, a Pima village that became ‘The West’s Most Western Town’, a destination intertwined with frontier ranching, cattle drives, cowboys and artists, located in the Sonoran Desert’s spectacular Valley of Sun.

Dreamy Draw will serve its patrons some of the best cuisine this famed region has to offer, hand picked from local vendors. A bespoke cocktail program developed from up-and-coming artisanal artist, Austin Blanchard, delivering luscious regional specialties.

As part of its programming, Dreamy Draw will take over the Monarch Hotel pool to offer up a one-of-a-kind VIP artist package that will include private rooms overlooking the festival and access to the artist backstage area. Attendees can be on the lookout for additional programming and unique collaborations with other Dreamy Draw partners like the Seager Co. and the ever-popping Country Night crew.

A percentage of proceeds from Dreamy Draw will be donated back to its non-profit partner, Scottsdale Arts.

Attendees can access DreamyDrawFest.com starting Wednesday, July 19th at 10 am PST when the festival announcement goes live; general public on-sale kicks off Friday, 10 am PST on July 21st.
