Ripley's Believe It or Not!® has Reopened at AZ Boardwalk with New Oddities and Intriguing Objects

SCOTTSDALE/SALT RIVER-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY, AZ (March 28, 2023) – Believe it or not, it’s back! Ripley's Believe It or Not!®, the world-famous attraction featuring intriguing oddities and astonishing artifacts, has reopened its doors at Arizona Boardwalk. Back by popular demand, and relaunched in a new, dynamic space at the entertainment destination, the attraction again showcases a large collection of the world's most bizarre and unbelievable items, including numerous new additions like a buttery-colored brick once part of the famous ‘yellow brick road’ from the motion picture, The Wizard of Oz; a larger-than-life statue of the ‘Predator’ (from the movie of the same name) made entirely from scrap metal; and a piercing portrait of Maverick himself: Tom Cruise -- drawn entirely with cigarette ashes!

"We're thrilled to reopen our doors to the Ripley’s experience," said Arizona Boardwalk’s Managing Director, Greg Charbeneau. "When we announced the closing date for the Ripley’s attraction last year, we were inundated by very disappointed fans who could not fit in a visit before it left Arizona. With this in mind, we were able to bring the Ripley’s exhibit back in a fresh space with some new and very interesting exhibit items we are sure all of our guests will find fascinating."

Visitors to the attraction can expect to see old favorites including a life-size animatronic model of the world's tallest man, a display of unusual taxidermy including a two-faced calf, and the compact yet drivable smallest car in the world! Along with the multiple new exhibit items, Ripley’s at Arizona Boardwalk also features the addition of a theater where guests can watch a montage of film clips highlighting unbelievable human feats performed by extraordinary people!

“We’re constantly on the lookout for new and exciting oddities to add to our collection,” said John Corcoran, Director, Traveling Shows with Ripley Entertainment. “We want to ensure that every time someone visits Ripley's Believe It or Not!, they see something they've never seen before. The Arizona Boardwalk location has a host of new and unbelievable things for visitors to see – and there will be more traveling pieces of pop culture and genuine artifacts that rotate through the space for special occasions or events while the attraction is there! Visitors won’t want to miss it!"

Ripley's Believe It or Not!® is open seven days a week, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with tickets available for purchase at ripleysaz.com or at the door. Visitors can add the Ripley’s experience on to their visit at Arizona Boardwalk with a Combo Ticket purchase, coupling it with other exciting attractions at the entertainment destination, and save up to 20%. Be prepared for a truly unbelievable and unforgettable experience at Arizona Boardwalk’s Ripley’s Believe It or Not!
