Global Ties Arizona is dedicated to building strong international relationships that foster more peaceful, informed and prosperous communities across Arizona and the world.

We do this through international exchange and global education programs.

Our Flagship Program

Global Ties Arizona works to further U.S. foreign policy objectives through The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP): a premier professional exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Every year, Global Ties Arizona welcomes hundreds of current and emerging leaders from over 100 countries to the Greater Phoenix area.

What We Do

We are impacting our local economy with revenue generated from visiting leader exchange lodging, meals, transportation, site visits etc.

Local businesses learn how to compete in a global marketplace at a time when Greater Phoenix occupies an even more important seat at the table of global industry as the 5th largest metro area in the U.S.

Municipalities benefit when foreign capital companies or suppliers select our cities as sites for office and manufacturing.

Arizona gains allies in leadership positions in communities all over the world.

We provide a space for diverse individual groups to come together to make new connections, collaborate, and empower one another to share experiences across cultures, provide career support, form collaborations in benefit of the betterment of our communities, and help each other in advancing professional or personal goals.

We are helping individuals create pathways of cross-cultural understanding and be better prepared to succeed in an increasingly diverse and global workplace.

At Global Ties Arizona, volunteers are our most tremendous resource. As a non-profit organization, volunteer efforts play an essential role in keeping our doors open and allowing us to contribute positively to local and international communities. The role of a volunteer can vary depending on the program needs of our organization at any given time.
