Christmas Camp® You Butter Not Pout
Perfect for the warm winters in Arizona, this cozy cocktail is a scotch-based drink with complexity that grows as you sip. An immediate taste of pear with a hint of citrus will tingle your taste buds. The finishing butterscotch foam is subtle but sweet. This cocktail is a signature feature of The Phoenician’s Christmas Camp® experience, based on the novel by author Karen Schaler.
Travis’ Homemade Egg Nog
With a foundation of rich homemade egg nog made from scratch, a floater of cognac and a cinnamon stick garnish, this whiskey-based cocktail is practically Christmas in a cup. Sip this on the patio overlooking Camelback Mountain – that’s the holidays in Scottsdale!
A festive fall-meets-winter cocktail with a Southwestern flair, this drink is composed of local Frankly Organic Apple Vodka sweetened with Vermont maple syrup and mixed with the spicy “dry heat” undertone of Ancho Reyes Liqueur. It’s balanced by fresh citrus, ginger, Anaheim and Poblano Chilis, and topped off with Cranberry bitters.
Rye Maple Chai
Grab a seat by the fire and get cozy! This cocktail will send your taste buds on a flavorful journey with WhistlePig Farmstock Rye whiskey, Chai tea, a splash of barrel-aged WhistlePig Maple syrup, and a cinnamon stick garnish.
St. Nickgroni & Jalisco Warmer
The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa has both chilled and warm holiday-themed drinks to help you celebrate the season. Chill out with the St. Nickgroni, a holiday spice-infused Tanqueray paired with Campari, Aperol and sweet vermouth. To heat up the night, opt for the Jalisco Warmer, a blend of Don Julio Reposado, Ancho Reyes, Grand Marnier and hot chocolate. There’s more where these came from! Being unveiled around the holidays, this new drink is named after “One-Eyed Jack,” the new 26-foot-tall jackrabbit sculpture recently installed on the corner of Indian School Rd. and Marshall Way, adjacent to Blue Clover. Comprised of Blue Clover’s own Distilled Vodka mixed with lemon juice, agave syrup and pomegranate juice, then topped with local Prickly Pear and lemon, this drink is a refreshing twist on the classic cocktail. Plus, we love it when a cocktail incorporates Arizona ingredients!
