There’s no rest for the weary in Scottsdale, where multi-million dollar renovations are giving rise to an endless array of fresh meeting and event locales.

JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa

With the opening of the Paradise Ballroom, JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa brings its total meeting space up to 95,000 square feet. The indoor-outdoor venue boasts stunning views of Camelback and Mummy Mountains, and accommodates up to 1,500 guests for reception-style gatherings. Retaining the property’s intimate Southwestern charm, the ballroom houses 40 pieces from the Marriott family’s personal art collection. The display is an homage to Bill Marriott Sr., who loved vacationing at Camelback Inn long before it was added to his family’s resort portfolio.

The Phoenician

The Phoenician’s massive $90 million renovation brings new private dining options to its signature restaurants. Opened in October 2017, Mowry & Cotton – a modern American eatery – features the Sonoran Desert-inspired Vermillion Room overlooking the restaurant’s main hearth, as well as Verdigris, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing pool views. At J&G Steakhouse, a September 2018 refresh breathed life into the Sunset Room – known for sweeping Valley vistas – and Mountain View room, named after its iconic Camelback Mountain backdrop.

CIVANA Carefree

Scottsdale’s first wellness resort, CIVANA Carefree, opened March 2018. Encompassing 23,000 square feet of flexible indoor-outdoor space, its focus is on healthy meetings and corporate retreats, with amenities like complimentary movement and enrichment classes. Venues accommodate groups of various sizes, from the Executive Boardroom on up to its signature 9,600-square-foot Saguaro Ballroom. Here, it’s all about work-life balance and itineraries reflect this philosophy with plenty of time built in for productivity, exploration and relaxation.

The Scott Resort & Spa

Approximately $15 million went into the bottom-up remodel of The Scott Resort & Spa, where group offerings now include 14,000 square feet of event space that’s reflective of the property’s designer Spanish and Moroccan ambiance. And with most of the venues opening up to an outdoor patio, attendees will get plenty of that signature Scottsdale sunshine. In September 2018, the resort unveiled a redesign to all 204 of its guestrooms, and now counts a Presidential Suite and four one-bedroom suites in its mix.

Hotel Adeline

Part Bohemian getaway, part urban retreat, Hotel Adeline debuted in January 2018 and with it 10 unique meeting and event venues. From the high-tech boardroom to the swanky Hayden Ballroom, and even an outdoor elevated pool deck, there’s truly a space and style for every need. This stylish new hotspot is particularly a favorite among the jet-set millennial crowd because of its Insta-worthy designer touches and Old Town Scottsdale location.

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess hotel-within-a-hotel concept, Fairmont Gold, is an exclusive retreat made up of 69 Fairmont Gold Junior Suites, a Fairmont Gold Lounge and private meeting center overlooking the famed TPC Scottsdale Stadium Course. This quiet enclave even has its own reception desk – where guests are greeted with a “Taste of Arizona” drink and canapé upon arrival – and each day brings a customizable continental breakfast as well as special culinary delights from Executive Chef Conor Favre.
