Scottsdale is home to some of the biggest-name events in the country. Here’s a sampling of the fun you’ll find on our year-round events calendar.


Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction

Barrett-Jackson rolls into WestWorld of Scottsdale each January and comes back bigger and better every year. With more than 1,800 pieces of automobilia and 1,700 vehicles, the 2017 auction brought more cars, stars and attractions to Scottsdale than ever before.

Canal Convergence

Canal Convergence returns to the Scottsdale Waterfront for its sixth year in 2018. Sponsored by Scottsdale Public Art, this annual event along the Arizona Canal in downtown features large-scale interactive art installations by local and international artists, as well as hands-on activities, live music and other entertainment.

Waste Management Phoenix Open

Known as the “Greatest Show on Grass,” the Waste Management Phoenix Opens draws the largest crowds on the PGA Tour to the TPC Scottsdale. In 2017, a record 655,434 fans enjoyed a week of championship golf under the Scottsdale sun.

Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show

The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show has been a first-class event from the very beginning. Now in its 63rd year, the Arabian Horse Show has grown from 50 horses to nearly 2,400 horses, bringing in some of the top owners, trainers, and breeders from all around the world to compete for a chance to win.

Spring Training

Cactus League Spring Training has been an Arizona tradition since 1947. Every March, Scottsdale hosts the San Francisco Giants, Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks as its honorary home teams. It’s a full month of Major League Baseball action at its finest!

azcentral.com Food & Wine Experience

A relative newcomer to the scene, the azcentral.com Food & Wine Experience returns for its third year in November 2017. This highly anticipated event is held at Salt River Fields and showcases a perfect balance of culinary flair and savory entertainment. With celebrity chefs, local talent and an abundance of live entertainment, it’s an event you and your taste buds won’t want to miss!
