Hike N Heal

Valid May 1- April 30, 2010

Enjoy breath taking views and experience the Sonoran Desert like no one else. Chose from either a Sunrise or a Sunset hiking excursion, heal your soul with your choice of a 1 hour massage, Oasis Spa Facial, or one hour Beach Feet Pedicure. Then enter into tranquility as you climb into the comforts of the Doubletree Sweet Dreams bed.

Sunrise: We begin our sunrise hikes in the pre-dawn hours as the sky begins to lighten. Many desert dwellers are nocturnal and these early morning hours provide a great opportunity to see the desert animals as they begin to retire for the day. Sunrise hikes are a great option for those visiting the Valley of the Sun in the warmer summer months. These hikes are about 2 hours and require a minimum of two persons, and include: granola bars, water, a Wilderness First Aid and CPR certified guide, use of trekking poles and backpacks and all entry/permit fees.

Sunset: We begin our sunset hikes about an hour prior to sunset to ensure our guests have an unforgettable view of the sun setting over the valley from the peak of the hike. As the sun sets, the sky provides a fantastic display of rich color and provides a beautiful backdrop for photography. As we watch the sun set, the city lights begin to flicker on and as we hike back down the trail, we are provided with gorgeous views of these lights around each corner of the trail. During the later months of the summer, we will oftentimes be fortunate enough to witness the stunning desert rainbows that hang over the valley right before evening sets in. These hikes are about 2 hours and require a minimum of two persons, and include: granola bars, water, a Wilderness First Aid and CPR certified guide, use of trekking poles and backpacks and all entry/permit fees.
