Scottsdale Fact Sheet

Spa & Wellness

Scottsdale has long been celebrated as a spa mecca, where the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert provides an inspiring backdrop for renewal and relaxation. The region’s connection to wellness is rooted in Indigenous traditions that recognize the deep relationship between the land, plants and overall well-being. Today, that heritage continues to influence Scottsdale’s approach to wellness with desert botanicals, natural ingredients and restorative experiences.

Scottsdale is one of the nation’s premier spa destinations, with many resorts drawing on indigenous ingredients and the tranquility of the desert to create deeply restorative experiences. Whether rooted in the Sonoran Desert or inspired by wellness traditions from around the world, Scottsdale’s resort spas offer visitors a wellness retreat unlike any other.
