RESORT ROUNDUP
- The Scottsdale Plaza Resort & Villas will soon become Miralina Resort and Villas, Paradise Valley. The resort is making a request to the town of Paradise Valley to amend its special-use permit, kicking off a comprehensive $42.2 million transformation into a boutique lifestyle resort. The grand reopening is expected to take place in January 2026. This is the first comprehensive renovation of the property in decades and encompasses a complete upgrade of every guest room, the introduction of new amenity spaces and pools, reimagined food and beverage venues featuring locally sourced ingredients, and the addition of a 7,200-square-foot, climate-controlled multipurpose pavilion to host local gatherings and events.
- Breathtaking Camelback Mountain views are one of the hallmarks of Sanctuary Camelback Mountain, and soon groups will have even better opportunities to admire them. In May 2025, the resort launched efforts to expand their Views ballroom by 1,500 square feet and remodel the Paradise Views Patio and Lower Lawn. The west-facing Paradise Views Patio will provide glorious sunset vistas as the backdrop for receptions, banquets and events. Although the Views Ballroom, Patio and Lower Lawn will be closed during renovations, the resort has several other meeting and event spaces available during this time. Renovations are scheduled to be complete in December 2025.
