The Arizona Golf Association is a not-for-profit 501c(4) association that serves as the official governing body of amateur golf in Arizona.
The association has more than 400 clubs and 55,000 members and it was started in 1923.
The Association's purpose is to promote the best interests and true spirit of the game throughout Arizona. Which includes providing education in all aspects of the game, including the USGA Rules of Golf, managing Handicap System, and conducting competitions and proper markings of the golf course.
