The Best Food and Drink Around Scottsdale Stadium and Salt River Fields

By local contributor
Kristen Kearney

To all my fellow baseball fans and hot dog enthusiasts, Spring Training has officially arrived! Check out some of my pre-game and post-game favorites that are just minutes away from the stadiums.

Where’s the Pre-Game Fun?

The Montauk

If you are a fan of mimosas and breakfast burritos like me, you’ll love The Montauk. The beachy vibes, live music and amazing brunch (weekends until 3 p.m.) make for a great way to kick-start your game-day buzz.

Diego Pops

Tacos, Brussels sprout nachos (I know, but trust me, they’ll have you coming back for more) and snow cone margaritas…need I say more?

Brat Haus

My favorite type of garden is a beer garden. With 28 craft beers on tap, giant pretzels, life size Jenga and a (dog friendly) patio, Brat Haus is the beer garden to hang out at before (or after) the game.

Welcome to the After Party!

RnR Gastropub

If you are looking for a party atmosphere any time of day, look no further. Queen of Scottsdale’s Sunday Funday experience, RnR has become the daytime party spot for the bottomless cocktail aficionados. On weekends, you can cash in on bottomless mimosas and bloody’s, while enjoying a live DJ in a high-energy atmosphere.

Salty Senorita

¡Ay Dios mío! (Oh my goodness!) Salty’s in Old Town Scottsdale has everything I need in just one spot. Indulge in chips and guacamole, have some margaritas and churros all while enjoying the sweet sunshine on the outdoor patio. Honestly, what more do you need?

Entertainment District

Looking for a bar-hopping destination that’s guaranteed to take you and your friends for a wild ride? Head for Scottsdale’s Entertainment District – two square blocks of city’s hottest nightclubs that are known for live music, celebrity DJ’s, innovative cocktails and a see-and-be-seen crowd. Some of my personal favorites are Bevvy, Bottled Blonde, The District and the brand-new Casa Amigos.
