If this sounds like you, help is on the way. There are paint and sip sessions scattered around Scottsdale that have instructors at the ready to help you fashion a fabulous work of art. And if you already have mad painting skills, these instructor-led classes can be an enjoyable way to build on your expertise.


Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale


While enjoying your stay at the Four Seasons Resort, flex your creative muscles with the Wine and Painting Experience. Hotel staff will deliver an easel, acrylic paint, brushes and a canvas to your suite patio along with a bottle of house red or white wine, and food for an extra charge. On select Saturdays, local artist-in-residence Carrie Curran teaches “Mimosa & Monet” classes for every skill level on The Hermosa Inn’s luxuriously landscaped patio. Along with expert instruction, the class includes all supplies, a mimosa, coffee and pastries. The Brush Bar


Unleash your inner artist at The Brush Bar in Old Town Scottsdale. Check the studio’s calendar for instructor-led classes featuring landscapes, whimsical motifs and holiday-related themes; and open studio classes where you can paint and sip freestyle without an instructor. The Brush Bar provides everything you need – all you have to do is show up and be ready for a good time. Beer and wine are available for purchase. They offer private, corporate and team-building events as well as Brush-to-Go, a mobile studio that will come to your hotel, retreat space or office.


Creative Color Art Studios


This McCormick Ranch art studio offers a full complement of creative experiences for children, first-timers and fun seekers. Classes, all taught by experienced art instructors and professional artists, include “Van Gogh Vino” and “Wine and Watercolor” where guests paint step-by-step alongside a local artist. Bring your own food and drinks and the studio will supply the wine glasses. Snuggled up to Lake Marguerite, the space is a scenic setting for bachelorette and birthday parties, corporate events and bridal showers.


Paint the Town


Get the party started with Paint the Town, a mobile art experience featuring local artists who will come to your indoor or outdoor venue, hotel or office. Paint the Town furnishes all materials for the two-hour class, from paints and brushes to canvasses and easels along with plenty of encouragement to make your artwork shine. Supply your own snacks and beverages and let the fun begin.
