Celebrate Father's Day in Scottsdale

Whether you call him dad, papa or pops, your father deserves some appreciation on Father’s Day (June 18, 2023). There’s nothing better than spoiling your dad with your time, so treat him to a special Scottsdale outing on his special day! Here are some great ideas to celebrate Dad this year.

IF DAD LOVES TO HAVE BREAKFAST…

Hash Kitchen

While brunch may feel a little on the feminine side, a lot of places give it a manly makeover with hearty items. Daily Dose hits a high note with brunch favorites like breakfast nachos, roasted top sirloin eggs benedict and banana bread French toast. El Chorro dishes up dad-worthy favorites like Huevos Rancheros and Trout Almandine (tip: save room for El Chorro’s world-famous sticky buns, which come with every meal!). And if you’re looking for a boozier brunch, make your way to Hash Kitchen for their incredible (almost never-ending) Bloody Mary Bar, along with their solid brunch menu.

IF DAD LOVES SPORTS…

Topgolf

Give your dad the chance to fly like the superhero he is at iFLY, Scottsdale’s indoor skydiving experience. Let him feel the need for speed with a tour around the track at Radford Racing School. Or make Father’s Day reservations at TopGolf and treat dad to great food and a lot of fun!

IF DAD LOVES BEER…

Beer stock

The Scottsdale beer scene is growing yearly, so what better way to celebrate dad than to enjoy an ice-cold brew together? Visit Goldwater Brewing Co. in the heart of Old Town, where their tap room boasts 20+ craft beers poured straight from the tanks. With more than 30 years combined experience in brewing, the husband-and-wife team behind Huss Brewing serves up scratch-made food and dozens of craft brews at their three Valley taprooms.

IF DAD LOVES MEAT…

Bourbon steak

Surprise dad with juicy prime rib, fresh seafood, gourmet burgers, artisan pizza and more this Father’s Day. Both surf and turf options are on the menu at Bourbon Steak at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Kick things off with chilled shellfish starters like Maine Lobster Dijionnaise, followed by a generous cut of American or Australian Wagyu beef.  T. Cook’s at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa celebrates dad’s big day with a hearty dinner that serves Copper State Reserve Prime Rib complemented by Bacon and Cheddar Gratin and Grilled Broccolini. Other sure-to-please options include two-fisted gourmet burgers at Old Town’s AZ88 or the wood-fired Carne, Craft 64’s hearty meat lover’s pizza that comes topped with pepperoni, fennel sausage and spicy soppressata.
