WHAT: To make art and culture more accessible to visitors and the local community, Western Spirit is pleased to announce new expanded hours for the upcoming season. The museum, recently named the #1 Western Museum in the United States by True West Magazine for 2023, is known for its captivating exhibitions and immersive Western experiences. It will introduce three new initiatives catering to new audiences.
WHERE: Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West, 3830 N. Marshall Way, Scottsdale, AZ 85251. The rotating exhibitions feature hundreds of Western artworks, rare historical objects, and cultural treasures on loan from some of the world’s foremost collectors and institutions.
WHEN:
- Sunday Family Day - From December 1, 2023, to April 30, 2024, Western Spirt will be open all day on Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm to families who can enjoy the museum with a special rate of $45 for up to 5 family members.
- Artwalk Thursdays - The museum will be open on Thursday evenings from 5 pm to 9 pm from November 1, 2023, through May 31, 2024. Admission is complimentary to all Scottsdale residents with valid ID.
- Museum Mondays - From January 1, 2024, to April 30, 2024, the museum will now be open on Mondays. Regular admission rates will apply.
These extended hours will give the community more opportunities to explore and engage in the rich cultural heritage preserved within Western Spirit.
