SCOTTSDALE’S SUNNY SONORAN DESERT
Scottsdale’s sun-drenched Sonoran Desert is the muse for this film. Not only did it inspire local artist Courtney Larsen (@spindlesdesignco), who created the Old Town mural depicted in Becca’s “sun” globe, but it’s also the backdrop for many magical moments throughout the film.
YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Scottsdale is home to more than 70 hotels and resorts, including these exceptional properties.

EXPLORE OLD TOWN
A visit to Scottsdale isn’t complete without spending a day in Old Town. Here are just a few of the treasures Becca and her friends found on their getaway.
Rancher Hat Bar
Western hats in a variety of styles and colors adorn the walls at Rancher Hat Bar. Choose your hat then personalize it with adornments like beaded bands, feathers, charms, even an authentic brand.
The Sun Globe Mural
Strike a pose in front of the mural depicted in Becca’s Sun Globe. You’ll find this gem by local artist Courtney Larsen (@spindlesdesignco) on Scottsdale Civic Center, across from the Little Red Schoolhouse.
Soleri Bridge & Plaza
Part pedestrian walkway and part solar calendar, the Soleri Bridge & Plaza at the Scottsdale Waterfront is one of more than 100 artworks located around the city as part of the Scottsdale Public Art Program.
Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West
Snap a fun pic at the museum’s cactus wall, then head inside this Smithsonian Affiliate to explore exhibits chronicling the history, cultures and indomitable spirit of the American West.
“Jack Knife” by Ed Mell
Another highlight of Scottsdale’s Public Art program, this monumental bronze sculpture in the roundabout at Main Street and Marshall Way greets visitors to the Old Town Arts District.
Old Town Cowboy Sign
The Old Town Cowboy Sign has been keeping watch over the corner of Scottsdale Road and Main Street since 1952. He’s been updated with fresh paint several times since then, so he’s always picture perfect!

From Western saloons and secret speakeasies to wine bars and high-energy nightclubs, Scottsdale’s nightlife scene offers plenty of options for a night on the town.
The Madam at The Scottsdale Resort & Spa
Elevated craft cocktails like the Devil’s Gambit, which comes garnished with dragon fruit, are on the menu at this new Scottsdale speakeasy (hint, head for the resort’s Social Boardroom and explore the decorated bookshelf).
Rusty Spur Saloon
Housed in a historic building that once served as the local bank, the Rusty Spur is Scottsdale’s oldest cowboy saloon. Pass through the swinging doors and enjoy live music and dancing seven days and nights a week.
