On view from October 19, 2021: Light and Legacy: The Art and Techniques of Edward S. Curtis. From the late 1890's to 1930, Edward Curtis took thousands of photographs of Native Americans from Arizona to Alaska as he assembled what would become the 20 volumes of The North American Indian, perhaps the largest ethnological project in American history. Docent-led gallery tours take place at 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m. and 1:15 p.m.
