A special holiday just for doughnuts? Count me in! National Doughnut Day is celebrated annually on the first Friday in June and Scottsdale has a few a-dough-rable places that you can treat yourself on this special day. With everything from gourmet creations to the classic rainbow sprinkles, there’s enough doughnut goodness for everyone!

Serving up traditional, classy and fancy doughnuts on the daily, there’s no way you should pass up The Local Donut shop on National Doughnut Day! With options ranging from their classic Blueberry Old Fashioned cake doughnut to their mouthwatering Crème Brûlée, this spot has more than enough variety to satisfy any craving.

You came for the cold brew but left with a dozen mini doughnuts – Yes, I said mini. Crave Grounds is the only place in town that serves miniature doughnuts. Which means you can eat a dozen (or more) and not feel guilty about it! Taking cuteness to a whole new level, they have mini donuts topped with rainbows, unicorn horns, bacon, and the classic Jimmies. With their creative toppings and darling appearance, these little gems are a great way to celebrate.

If your mouth isn’t watering yet, then you definitely need to make your way to The Original Rainbow Donuts shop. With the recent opening of their second Valley location, this one in Scottsdale, they’re the new kids in town and are continuing their family tradition of serving up delicious, imaginative doughnuts – like their S’mores doughnut covered in marshmallow icing and graham cracker crumbs or their croissant-doughnut topped with a tasty glaze.
